Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas took another step towards being the player who has played the most games for his country in Paris on Wednesday night.
Casillas made his 102nd appearance for Spain in the 2-0 win over France in the Saint-Denis Stadium
That sees him equal the number of games played by his Real Madrid teammate Raul Gonzalez and now only Andoni Zubizarreta stands ahead of him.
Zubizarreta, who played in goal for Athletic Club Bilbao, FC Barcelona and Valencia in his career, played 126 games for Spain.
However given that Casillas is still only 28 years old, the Real Madrid goalkeeper has plenty of time to overtake him and set a new record.
Casillas made his international debut in a 1-1 draw against Sweden on June 3, 2000 and captained the Spanish in their triumph in the 2008 European Championships.
