A football fan died and at least 13 others were injured after the victory of club Palmeiras 2-0 over club Sao Paulo, local press said on Monday.
According to the press, after the match hosted on Sunday for the 10th date of the local tournament, the police recorded at least six fights between football fans of both teams, including one in a gas station in Bandeirantes highway.
During this fight, four people were shot and Palmeiras' fan Alex Fornan de Santana of 29 years old was killed.
The football fans of both clubs fought with sticks, stones, bars and steel weapons, until the shooting began and the people escaped.
According to the local press, from the 11 injured, four of them continue hospitalized at nearby hospitals.
There were also fights outside the Palestra Italia stadium of Palmeiras between the fans who did not get tickets to see the match.
