Costa Rican defense player Porfirio Lopez of local club Puntarenas FC will travel on Monday to China to find soccer clubs and play in the first division of that Asian country.
Lopez is the fifth Costa Rican player who travels to China in the last week seeking for a club to play at.
Since some days ago other players like Jose Luis Lopez, Olman Vargas and Jorge Alejandro Castro of local club Deportivo Saprissa, as well as forward Victor Nunez of club Aguilas Liberia traveled to China with the same aim.
The players of club Saprissa have made already trail with Chinese club Dalina Shide, while Nunez has tried with Chinese club Shandong Luneng.
To the moment it is unknown which club Porfirio Lopez will try.
Currently Costa Rican forward Johnny Woodly plays for Chinese club Chonquing Lifan which in the past season dropped to the Chinese soccer second division.
