The Prague event of Tour de Ski cross-country skiing will be held on Jan 4. between the Spartakiad and Evzen Rosicky stadiums at Prague-Strahov, Lukas Sobotka, Czechskiing association (SLCR) chairman, said on Tuesday. The event will be organised by CS Ski, a SLCR subsidiary. The locality was approved by representatives of the International Ski Federation (FIS), Sobotka said.
The budget of the Prague event of the international series is 11 million crowns, Czech media reported.
It will also be possible to produce artificial snow on the spot. In the previous two years, snow was transported.
