Canadian Annamay Pierse improved her own world record in the women's 200m breaststroke at the British Short Course Grand Prix in Leeds on Friday. Pierse clocked two minutes 16.83 seconds to beat her previous best of 2:17.50, beating compatriots Martha McCabe and Hanna Pierse.
Pierse, who broke the long course world record in the 200m breaststroke in Rome last month, set the world short course record in March at the Spring Nationals in Toronto.
