Russian Sergei Ivanov won on Saturday the 14th stage of the Tour de France, a 199-km ride from Colmar to Besancon, while Italy's Rinaldo Nocentini kept the overall lead. Ivanov, who rides for the Katusha team, came over the line with 4 hours 37 minutes and 46 seconds. Irishman Nicolas Roche finished just 16 seconds behind him. Hayden Roulston of New Zealand finished the third in the stage.
American rider George Hincapie was in second place on the over standings, only 5 seconds behind Nocentini. American Lance Armstrong ranked fourth after the Saturday stage.
