"Alexander Nouri has shown in recent weeks that he can work with the team," dsof Werder Bremen CEO Frank Baumann. "We came to the conclusion that he should get the chance to continue the work he began."
Bremen sit on the 15th place of the standings after earning four points from six rounds. They clash with Bayer Leverkusen at the seventh round on October 15.
"This is a big challenge but we will succeed together," Nouri said. "We have a good team, a motivated coaching staff and an excellent environment. I am looking forward to the task."
