娱乐英语资讯：Movie star becomes Olympic reporter

Chinese film star Zhang Ziyi arrives in Athens Saturday as an honorable guest and special reporter at the 2008 Olympic Games. Invited by the Greek Olympic Committee, the Beijing-born actress will attend the torch lighting ceremony for the Beijing Olympics in Athens as well as the handover ceremony, according to a report on the website sohu.com.

Zhang also will work as one of the journalists of the 2008 Games' official website, covering the Greek section of the torch relay from March 24-30 in 43 cities in Europe.

"As a Beijing native, I'm expecting the great event as eagerly as everybody else," Zhang wrote in her online blog, "I'm proud of my country and feel honored about the mission."

Zhang said her news reports will examine Greek culture and the Greek people.

Zhang Chaoyang, chief executive officer of of sohu.com, is also part of the group of celebrities and notable people who are working as special reporters for the Games. His company is one of the Olympic partners and produces the official Beijing Olympics website.
