你经历过“休假愧疚心理”吗？

　　好不容易休假，心理还总觉得过意不去；一个劲儿担心工作上的事情，时不时总要查看工作邮箱或者跟同事电联一下？心理学家说，这叫leisure guilt（休假愧疚心理），是因为对工作缺乏安全感导致的。

　　Leisure guilt is the guilt that comes with taking a vacation or a day off from work. You're so anxiety-ridden about the work you're leaving behind (or will be returning to) that it's less painful not to take time off.

　　Leisure guilt指休假或请假期间伴有的一种愧疚心理，你对留在办公室的（或者休完假即将面对的）工作很担忧，以至于你认为不休假反而会轻松一些，我们称为“休假愧疚心理”。

　　We often have a strong tendency to check in with the office, to see how things are going while we are on vacation. Workers justify this as being conscientious, but in fact, it may be the result of fear and anxiety about job security. Those concerns may be fueled by worries about an aspiring, overly- competitive co-worker, a subordinate that is coveting one’s job, or a critical boss.

　　我们在休假期间还会时常跟办公室的同事保持联络，持续跟进办公室的各类动态。员工们都认为这是对工作认真负责的表现，但事实上，这些可能是对工作安全感担忧的表现。这些担忧可能来源于某位积极上进、颇有竞争力的同事，觊觎你职位的下属，或者某位挑剔的上司。

　　Others who are without work-related fear or anxiety may avoid or, at the very least, intensely dislike vacations because taking the time off makes them feel bad or worthless.

　　另外还有些人不喜欢休假不是出于工作安全感方面的担忧，而是因为他们觉得休假让他们自我感觉不好，觉得自己失去了价值。
