脑残节目 teletrash

　　“脑残”这个词近几年很流行，而且用途很广，可用来形容某个人、某件事，或者某些你看不上眼的电视节目。如果说某人“脑残”，我们可以说someone is brain-impaired。假如想说某个节目“脑残”则可以直接用teletrash这个词表示。

　　Teletrash refers to television programs which target the least intelligent and the least sophisticated viewers. Such programs always center attention on crude or degrading behavior intended to titillate viewers, participants, or both.

　　Teletrash指面向低智商、头脑简单的观众播放的电视节目，即“脑残节目”。这类节目往往会着重通过粗俗、低级的行为引起观众和节目参与者的兴趣。

　　For example:

　　"What'd you do this weekend?"

　　你这个周末干吗了？

　　"Not much. We drank beer and watched a lot of teletrash reruns. You?"

　　没干吗。我们边喝啤酒边看了一堆重播的脑残节目。你呢？
