3D动画电影《里约大冒险》自4月8日在内地上映后票房相当卖座，而上海电影译制厂制作的中文配音版也广受好评，不少观众反映，配音版不仅体现了浓郁的本土特点，还加入了许多时下流行用语，为影片增色不少。但遗憾的是，目前各大影院放映的中文版场次较少，给一些观众特别是低龄儿童观影带来了烦恼。
《里约大冒险》的背景设定在热情四射的巴西里约热内卢，讲述的是一只来自美国明尼苏达州的“宅鸟”——蓝金刚鹦鹉在里约和一群鸟类同伴展开的冒险之旅。虽然影片的原声阵容有安妮·海瑟薇、吉米·福克斯等大牌明星，但上译厂的中文配音团队也非常专业，不仅在翻译上体现了本土特色，还别具匠心地融汇了时下的流行语，而且和剧情契合得非常自然完美，使得国语配音更加贴近中国观众的生活。比如影片中时不时冒出的 “打酱油”、“悲催”、“三俗”、“脑残”、“你太有才了”等台词，令观众捧腹大笑，纷纷称赞中文配音“太给力了”。
从《冰河世纪3》到《功夫熊猫》、《猫头鹰传奇》再到《里约大冒险》，上译厂这几年来的动画配音一直秉持着在配音中加入生活化、本土化元素的传统，并在对流行语进行改良后巧妙地运用，更增添了影片的欢乐气氛。因此，《里约大冒险》配音版不仅受到看不懂中文字幕的小朋友的欢迎，一些时尚的年轻人也很喜爱。但上海万达电影城的工作人员告诉记者，由于中文配音版宣传并不多，大部分观众还是宁愿选择看原版。因此目前上海各大影院上映的中文版场次比较少，排片多为英文原声中文字幕版。
对此，许多观众表示很遗憾，一位家长告诉记者，观看《里约大冒险》时需要戴3D眼镜，如果看原声再跟着字幕会非常吃力，很容易分心错过内容，特别是对低龄儿童来说更是如此。因此希望影院考虑到观众的需求，多增加些中文配音版的场次。
