迪士尼在《长发公主》Facebook粉丝页面上放上一支最新病毒短片，搭上了流行的伪纪录片热潮。别说，短片还挺像模像样，主观视角、嘈杂的背景音和喘息声，最后还来了把夜视效果。不过，本片主打的模仿对象其实是一支最近在Youtube上很火的短片《双倍的彩虹（Yosemitebear Mountain Giant Double Rainbow）》——正所谓做宣传就得紧跟时尚。不过，美国网友的口味也挺奇怪的，所以我们在《长发公主》的病毒短片中就看到本应该很酷的帅小偷一直很2的大叫“Double Tower”……
在童话里，长发公主有着世上最长、最美的头发，却被邪恶的巫婆困在城堡里。一个王子顺着她从高塔搭下来的头发，爬上塔顶去营救她。这次“旧瓶装新酒”对格林童话的原著进行了很大的改动，主人公“长发公主”并不会像故事书里写的那样大部份时间被关在高塔里，而将在电影一开始就离开高塔。这位暴力公主还会用她瀑布般的长发绑架一个帅气小偷，与她一同去外面广阔的世界冒险，故事可谓非常具有“女权”色彩。
《长发公主》将于2010年11月24日美国上映。
