最近在英国电视才艺比赛 “英国有天才”(或称“英国达人”)中一举成名的苏珊·博伊尔在决赛中夺得第二名。
据英国广播公司报道，胜出的是来自英格兰东部埃塞克斯郡的跳舞组合“多样化”(Diversity)。他们是10名12至25岁的年轻人。决赛的表演者共有10名个人或组合，外界一致看好博伊尔。
不过，决赛前英国一些小报报道说博伊尔因在短时间内成名而备受压力，说她曾考虑退出决赛。
5月30日晚在伦敦举行的决赛上，博伊尔表现稳定，她再次演唱在初赛时唱的“我有一个梦想”(Idreamed a dream)。 所有参赛者完成表演后，观众打电话投票选出他们心目中的冠军。
比赛的冠军除可以得到10万英镑奖金外，还将为英女王表演。博伊尔还赢得了包括冰岛歌星邦乔维、美国影星黛米·摩尔等著名演艺人士的支持。
