　　句子的分析和理解是阅读的关键，下面这句话很多同学来信提问。

　　Further ahead, by a combination of the great wealth this new age will bring and the technology it will provide, the construction of a vast, man-created world in space, home to thousands or millions of people, will be within our power.

　　本句子相对复杂，但可以让我们对简单句到复杂句的演变有更好的了解。

　　第一步理解：

　　句子主干The construction of a vast, man-created world in space will be within our power.在太空建造一个巨大的人造世界将在我们的能力范围之内。

　　第二步理解：

　　这个人造世界到底会是怎样的地方，需要进一步说明，所以有同位语home to thousands or millions of people，跟在a vast, man-created world in space后面，告诉我们这个太空世界将成为千百万人的家园。

　　第三步理解：
