词汇是SAT考试的一大难关。目前备考SAT的同学每天背巴朗词表2-3个lists。然而，有些同学在晚自习的时候花整节课来背单词，这样扩大SAT词汇量的方法既耗时间，见效又低。建议大家利用零散的时间背单词。SAT词汇的背诵在于多遍、重复，在时间上，课间、饭前、饭后、活动课、睡前这些零散的时间都可以充分利用。而整块儿的时间就可以节省下来用来做题。据统计，每次背单词的时间控制在15-30分钟为宜。
能否攻克记忆SAT词汇的难关也是SAT考试成败的一个关键点。要解决如此重大的SAT词汇量，不得不下巧功夫。在冲刺前的基础培训中，很多学生至少已经对SAT词汇进行了2-3遍的记忆，而在此时的冲刺阶段，应该首先对词汇进行最后一次的系统复习。当然不是所有的词汇都要记住，考生最重要的是要将一些核心的SAT词汇烂熟于心。
对关键词加以强化后，对于非关键词也要下些工夫。这样有的放矢地记忆SAT词汇，效果也会事半功倍，解决SAT词汇量也就不在话下了。
