平面几何
1.普通几何：
GRE经常考察组和图形，例如两个相等的圆经过对方圆心，求外部周长;一个正三角形中去掉三个以各顶点为圆心，周长一般为半径的圆的以后的部分的面积。 只要熟记下列公式就可以解决：

2.解析几何：
常考的有：
两直线垂直的条件：来直线 和 垂直的条件， 。
平面上两点中点坐标及距离：平面直角坐标系中，A和B是任意两点，C是线段AB的中点，则x=/2,,y=/2,线段AB两端点间的距离=
立体几何
GRE数学中的立体几何只涉及四面体，长方体，正方体，圆柱体，圆锥的面积和体积。
