新gre issue写作时间由原来的45分钟改为现在的30分钟，新gre issue写作不仅由答题时间减少15分钟的变化，考察考生的写作题目也更加具体，如果面对一个写作题目我们写不好根本原因是我们积累的漂亮英文论证素材及论据素材太少或者积累了又不善于利用，才使得新gre考试写作内容过于空洞。
GRE写作对于论据-Evidence的要求非常高， 对名人事例的储备和相关知识的积累也是非常重要的，但我们所有同学要学会合理的发挥一个论据的最大功效，要学会储备那些既有针对性，又有灵活性的例子，辛辛苦苦记住的一个例子或者段落要能发挥它最大的使用范围。
给出了每一个题目论述的关键词论证分析中英文提纲以及涉及的论证概念以及论据素材对一个题目从论证到论据给出一个全面的分析和补充我们写作的思路和素材，但是每一个题目的素材其实既是该题最具针对性的概念或者论据，又可以用到很多其他题目中，我们平时就是要多积累这样的素材。例如，我们在讲解Issue题库的第一题的时候给大家补充的例子是：William Harvey 哈维，血液循环发现人，推翻了盖伦的理论，我们举例如下所示：
William Harvey ， English physician， who discovered the circulation of the blood and the role of the heart in propelling it， thus refuting the theories of Galen and laying the foundation for modern physiology。 Harveys De Motu Cordis subjected him to severe criticism by some contemporaries， but this was more than compensated for by the later widespread recognition of his contribution.
如上所示的一个哈维的例子，就短短一小段话，但是这个小段落中的三个不同的地方， 其实应对了Issue里最重要的三个主题的写作的例子，而这三个主题加起来辐射了我们GRE Issue话题题库中的将近49个题目，这种素材的性价比就太高了，因此大家要学会这样的总结，这里就只是大家这样一个启发，后面我们对于每一个题目都回给出每一个题目所涉及的论证概念以及素材，这样的储备让我们每一个同学都能掌握GRE Issue写作每一个话题的题眼和每一个题目背后的概念和文化。
改革后的新gre issue写作考察考生完成题目的过程中是否能够融合批判性思维和分析性写作能力，以更好的反应研究生院和商学院所需思维方式，所以考生在备考新gre issue写作时在增强语言功底的同时，还要勤于思考分析。
