这次科技英语决赛区一等奖的获得者李加荣的妈妈荣女士说，李加荣知道自己得到区一等奖后难过了好一阵子，因为她对自己的成绩很不满意，她认为自己本来可以取得更好的成绩，是什么让她没有得到更好的名次呢？根本原因就是她的骄傲。李加荣在候老师的班上，是惟一一个没有通过公二的孩子，当时对参加这次科技英语的比赛没有信心，但是候老师鼓励她说：你是一个很认真很努力的孩子，我相信你一定会成功的！所以她就报名参加了这次的比赛。并很顺利的就进入到了复赛，她在沾沾自喜的同时就忽略了加强复习，所以在决赛中的成绩就不尽如人意了。
虽然是这样，李加荣的成绩还是很不错的，能在强手如云的海淀区获得区一等奖，这个奖项对她也是莫大的鼓励。她身上还是有很多值得未获奖的孩子学习的地方。因为她的妈妈荣女士是图书馆的老师，常常会给李加荣带回很多书籍看，而李加荣通常都是挑选一些自己喜爱的书来读，她很喜欢中英文对照版的文学类的书，比如“书虫”系列。她拿起喜爱的书的时候便很爱不释手，而且会大声的朗读。日积月累下来，她的阅读能力和口语能力就都有了很大的提高，虽然在这次科技英语的比赛中没有考到口语部分，但相信如果加上口试部分，她的成绩会有更大的提高。因为养成了长期在阅读时同时朗读的好习惯，对单词的熟悉程度使得她在这次考试中的听力部分也没有失太多的分。
总结这次的考试经验，李加荣说她觉得自己最欠缺的地方就是单词词汇量还远远不够，应该再多阅读，并且应该多读一些科普类的书籍，多多积累这方面的知识，才能在考试中得到更好的发挥。
“我上了初中以后还会再继续考科技英语的！而且我会考得更好！”李加荣自信满满的说。我们也相信有了这次的好成绩做基础，并且总结出自已需要再加强练习的地方后，她一定会在明年的科技英语中取得更好的成绩！
