                        Step1.  Warm up:
                        T: Class begins!
                        Morning!  Boys and girls!
                        S: Morning ,teacher!
                        T: What day is it today?
                        S: Its / Today is
                        T: What do you do on weekend?

                        Step 2. Review
                        1.     Review the numbers one through twenty in a class 
                        drill.
                        2.     Write twenty-one on the board. Ask the children 
                        to read the number to you.
                        3.     Repeat the procedure for the numbers twenty-two 
                        through thirty.
                        Step 3. Set the scene
                        1.     Ask all the children who are wearing watches to 
                        put up their hands.
                        2.     Point to your own watch. Ask, Whats this? 
                        Elicit, Its a watch.
                        3.     In Chinese, ask the children what time it is.
                        Step 4. Model the dialog
                        1.     Explain to the children that in this lesson they 
                        are going to learn how to tell the time in English.
                        2.     Present the question, What time is it? Write 
                        the question on the board and explain its meaning. read 
                        the question aloud, pointing to each word as you do so. 
                        Have the children repeat the question after you.
                        3.     Now present the word oclock. Repeat the 
                        procedure used to model the question.
                        4.     Draw a clock on the board, with its hands reading 
                        one oclock. Point to your drawing and say, Its one 
                        oclock.
                        5.     Change the small hand on the clock so that it 
                        points to 2. point to your drawing again. Ask, What 
                        time is it ? Elicit , Its two oclock.
                        6.     Repeat the procedure for each hour, from three 
                        oclock through twelve oclock.
                        Step 5. Talk about the story
                        Have the children open their books at pages 14 and 15. 
                        then ask these questions about the pictures:
                        P1:  What is Mocky doing?
                        (Point to the picture of the watch. Ask, What time is 
                        it? Elicit, Its three oclock.)
                        P2/3: What is happening now?
                        P4: What time is it ?
                        (Elicit, Its five oclock..)
                        P5: What do you think Bobby is asking Mocky?
                        P6: What is Mocky looking at?
                        P7 / 8: What is happening now?
                        P9: What do you think is wrong with Mockys watch?
                        (Present the word broken.)
                        P10: What do you think Uncle Booky has done to Mockys 
                        watch?
                        (Present the word fix, and its past tense form, fixed.)
                        Step 6. Story
                        1.     Say, Now were going to hear what the characters 
                        said. Play the tape without stopping. Have the children 
                        look at they listen.
                        2.     Play the tape again, pausing after each picture. 
                        Have the children repeat the words each time.
                        Step 7. Pair work:
                        Ask the students to talk about the time with their watch 
                        . And then act it out.
                        Step 8. Group work:
                        Ask the students to make a new dialogue in their groups. 
                         And then act it out.
                        Step 9. Fight game:
                        The students have five minutes to prepare the 
                        competition.
                           Game 1: Please say out the new words in Chinese.

                           Game 3: Please find out the next sentence.
                        Step 10. Extend:
